If you’ve accidentally deleted contacts within the last 30 days, you can retrieve them from your Trash.
Note: Contacts removed from your “Other contacts” won’t appear in Trash. However, you can restore them by undoing all changes made in the last 30 days.
Here’s how to recover your contacts:
- Open Google Contacts.
- Scroll down the menu on the left side.
- Click on Trash.
- Choose the contacts you want to restore:
Single contact: Check the box next to the contact’s name.
Multiple contacts: Check the boxes next to each contact you want to recover.
All contacts: Check the box next to any contact, click Selection Actions at the top left, and select All.
- Click Recover at the top right.
Your selected contacts will be restored to their original locations.
